PEOPLE YOU MAY REMEMBER

WDAN has a long and storied history.  We are most proud of the hundreds of talented announcers and staff that have served WDAN and the Danville radio listeners well.  Among those include two now famous names in the entertainment business.

At the time they were just 2 regular guys who thought it would be fun to work at WDAN.  The first was DICK VAN DYKE Dick worked as an announcer at WDAN during and after high school in the mid-1940's
The second young man was GENE HACKMAN  Gene worked as a cameraman at Channel 24 in the mid 50’s
